This is a weird one, it started while cruising the Internet, I came across one of those ads that I would normally skip thru to the video I wanted to see, but this wild-haired auntie type caught my attention. Sitting in a coffee shop, she was flogging yet another new age-y device, but she somehow kept me watching. When the pitch was over, I immediately Googled the heck out of N.O.W. sound discs, and came across many people espousing the virtues of these shiny chrome pucks. I don't even know why I bought them, but I did. They are expensive, and I surely didn't need them, but I figured I could try them for a few weeks and then return them. It didn't go like that tho, from the first time I used them, their vibration just hit me the right way. I'm not sure if it was their baroque perfect fifth tuning, or the way they made my lips vibrate every time I used them, or maybe even the fact that they never play the same pattern twice, but from my first try, I was hooked.But it wasn't all roses and sunshine, one of the pucks I had gotten was completely lacking a charge (they are supposed to come fully charged), and the blue power light only worked sporadically. I wrote to Ruane, the N.O.W. support person, and was more than happy with my treatment. She immediately sent me a new set of chrome pucks and a return label for the original ones. Ruane was very efficient and extremely polite during all of our exchanges, great support really makes a difference.I use them every day, twice a day, and often double up on the time (playing them back to back is still only 6 minutes). I don't know if I buy into the "yoga for the mind" stuff, but I know I feel something when I use them. Every time I use them I get that feeling that I just did something right. And that's more than enough for me.
